Maison du Bûcheron is a unique barn conversion located in the village of Vacheresse, with spectacular views over the picturesque Abondance Valley. The resorts of Portes du Soleil including Chatel, Morzine and Les Gets are all easily accessible.
The Maison has a spacious living and dining space, three generous en-suite bedrooms accommodating 10-12 people and a large garden to relax in and soak up the amazing scenery. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and get away from it all. Alternatively, if you’re looking for an adventure-packed mountain holiday, we are ideally located for a host of Winter and Summer sporting activities. Either way, you’ll be sure to have an unforgettable holiday experience!
Living
The large open plan living area has plenty of comfortable seating allowing you to take advantage of the spectacular views, luxuriate in front of the wood burning stove or relax on the balcony.
Dining
In our fully-equipped kitchen and sociable dining area you can sit around the large hand-built wood table and enjoy catching up on the adventures of the day over a glass of wine or two!
Sleeping
The Maison’s three spacious family bedrooms are all en suite – with the choice of a large King sized beds, easily changed to twin beds plus bunks and additional single beds.
Outdoor Space
Relax in the garden and soak up the incredible views across the stunning Abondance valley. There’s a decked seating area where you can socialise, enjoy barbecues and dine.
There is also a separate lockable building for storage of skis, bikes or other equipment.
Personal Service
Maison du Bûcheron is family owned and run – we will be there to greet you and to say farewell. Our aim is to help you make the most of your holiday and enjoy your experience of what this spectacular region has to offer. We can provide daily snow and weather forecasts, help with arranging lift passes, equipment hire, cycling routes, hiking trails, sports lessons or general advise about the area.
